High School Clinics
Our high school clinics are educational, non-competitive events, providing music directors and students the chance to showcase their ensembles and share ideas with other musicians, directors and NIU faculty. High school choirs, jazz bands, and string orchestras perform on the NIU concert hall or recital hall stage. NIU faculty and, for certain events, a guest clinician, critique performances and share valuable insight. Directors receive access to a recording of their ensemble's performance. All events are scheduled in the Music Building.
Be sure to register by the deadline. A registration fee is charged for each ensemble and is due two weeks before the event date.
Please note: Only one ensemble per school, unless space allows.
